My ex-father-in-law was bringing a new (used) upright home in the back of an open pickup truck. He took a corner too fast and the piano tipped out, falling onto a parked car. Auto insurance covered the damage to the other vehicle, but the piano was a total loss and he got a hefty traffic ticket for not having the load adequately secured.
