Barry ... the Irish is going very well, since I've discovered Mary Black! Specifically, I'm working on "Song For Ireland" and "Fare Thee Well My Own True Love." There's a lovely song called "Mo Ghile Mear" and I'd love to learn it, but my prowess in the romance languages has not prepared me for gaelic.
