What fun it was tonight! At our regular Friday Night music, one of our regulars called and asked if she could bring some friends from out of town. It was fine, although space is somewhat limited since I can no longer have music at my house, because we didn't expect many of the usual group to show up- there were a lot of things going on in town tonight.

Anyway, the minute I shook hands with Debbie Johnson's guests I thought they looked familiar, although I couldn't place them. They were from Maryland, they said. It was not until the second song of theirs that I realized where I had seen them- at the Getaway!

I had a great time with them, although I'm sure they were groggy from a very long day. They had been up almost 24 hours at this point. But they are wonderful people and sing beautifully. They sang a couple of river songs/shanteys and sang along with everyone else and then Judy did the inimitable Tails and Trotters.

I don't know what their plans are for tomorrow night but if they're up for music, we'll get it for them!
