At a concert in Halifax, Yorks, many years ago, a well-known singer (Owen Brannigan?) was in full flow when his dentures shot out of his mouth. Unabashed, he caught them deftly and in the course of his next few bars' rest, turned away from the audience, re-inserted them and carried on as if nothing had happened.

Can't remember what he was singing, but it may have been "Messiah" - anyway he Handeled it well!!!
