It was more "traditional" than much of the rock-influenced ceili-band bull perpetrated by the current 'trad' industry. It was the sound of young Irish women singing in their own way and it was beautiful. Unbelievable the amount of vitriol y'all have for this music and how brainwashed you are about what is and isn't traditional. Sheez. If you don't like it turn it off but quit acting like the rest of us are misguided because we appreciate something outside your narrow definitions.
