Small question.

Do folk clubs and such the like have a problem with advertising other people's events even if they don't conflict with their own.
A folk club fairly local to me has a table specificly for advertising material for other clubs and/or festivals, however I have heard stories that some people/places who receive advertising for other events will, not refuse as such, but conveniently forget to put it out.
Any thoughts?
