Judging from the segment of chorus, it seems to be a version of a song recorded by the Kingston Trio inder the name "Genny Glenn" (New Frontier, 1962 also on The Capitol Years 4 CD set). I don't have those words written down but will try to get them. the bigger question is when I will be able to post them. This is the first time in a while I have been able to read a thread. A couple nights ago, it took 20 minutes just to load the site and then I couldn't read even a short thread after another 10 minutes. Another variant of the song was recoded by the Chad Mitchell Trio (CMT Arrives aka CMT). Theirs is called "Sally Ann" with a chorus:
