Hey, Liz:

You've touched on another perception of the meaning of being "mature."
"Mature" being staid, unimaginative, set in your ways, no longer fun-loving or spontaneous, boring.... Maturity doesn't have to be any of these things. Maturity can be a release and a freedom, just as much as it can be deadening.

And then, they make those slacks with elastic waist bands for the "mature" figure... :-)
