Giok, I'm afraid its our fault here down under. we have had an extended summer which just went on and on and on, and which we greatly enjoyed. 8 months of sunshine is enough to make anyone smile!
but, you know, you are entitled to be bored, and to be bored truly and in the most utterly boring way. Why should you move away from your family to a shit hole of a city to get enjoyment which is too expensive to get to? can you do voluntary work in the back of beyond? you may get the delightful company of Hyacinth Bucket if you choose to, and who wants that?
why should you take up crochet or tap dancing if you don't bloody well feel like it?
and why should you look at that endless grey sky and bleak view out the window, and not feel pretty bleak inside too.
