I see nothing that would exempt people from being bigots just because they are teachers. A fellow in Alberta named Jim Keegstra taught his students that the Holocaust didn't happen He was also the mayor of Eckville. He did that for years before a parent brought it to the attention of the school board and the Alberta Teachers' Association. His certification was yanked by the ATA.
