Thread Name: BS: More from George Galloway
Subject: RE: BS: More from George Galloway
The thing is that the quote that opens this thread is opinion and not fact. I can toss a nickel down any American street and cover a couple of dozen people who would spout something equivalent, and at least an equal number of people who would spout the opposite.

The New York Times spent a considerable amount of money researching the Florida vote. They actually published the results if you will take the trouble to go out and read it. And, by the way, The New York Times is not considered to be a pro-Bush institution, in case you didn't know.

That all was two elections ago. There has been no valid challenge to the legality or authenticity of the last Presidential election. The preponderence of Republicans in Congress is consistent with the fact that the voice of the American people has been heard and is being represented.

What I think I can validly conclude from the first post on this thread is that the author of it is not happy with the voice of the American people. But the author has not troubled to find anything to reference that is related to fact. The author would rather quote an opinion of convenience.

Alles klar, Herr Kommissar
