As I've mentioned in two other threads, the individual involved there is engaged in putting himself in the center of the picture.

It's as was said of Teddy Roosevelt: "He wanted to be the bride at every wedding, and the corpse at every funeral."

By and large, these people don't have any interest in the actual content of a thread, except as it may be forced to relate to them.
