I'm still waiting on some payments from a couple of places that promised expenses at the very least and then made it impossible for me to claim them..... One of them even went to the stage of solicitors letters - til it worked out more expensive to claim the fee than the actual fee was!
And I'd rather do a gig for nothing than end up paying more for accommodation than I earn for performing which has happened in the past!
