No, that was the problem in the first place. Martin was a bedwetter (still is), and he insists on sleeping with an electric blanket. He repeatedly shocks himself (a couple of times a night), and the result is like repeated electroshock therapy. He's lobotomized most of his brain, and is completely missing anything resembling a social conscience. He can type on a computer keyboard (more or less, as you can see by his spelling), but he has to be hand-fed.

Tragic. We keep him in the tower room and never talk about him.
