Unamed guest, I think you might be missing something. Yes many of these countries politicians/dictators do have the best 4 wheel drives and the nicest selection of matching guns provided by loans from other governments/banks.

The trouble is that is where the money is being spent and not on the people who are suffering (i.e Darfur).

Because of lttle action by the UN or other more responsible governments it falls to people like Bob Geldorf to stir things up and make people aware and give money that will reach those people directly and not via some greedy outthrust paw of a government minister.
