No one else ever managed to put so much money where it was really needed, and it was precisely his blunt steamroller approach that made it work.

I've been paying taxes too, for 45 years, but I am still aware that much of my prosperity, such as it is, comes from the former exploitation of these people by the western world.

I thank God that my children have never had to sift through garbage tips, to feed themselves. We're all riding this ballo of rock through space together, and it's time to share some of its bounty with those less fortunate.

Time, I think, to say to their leaders "We will write off the debts, and if you don't use the money to improve the lot of your people, we will sanction you to death".
