There is an advert on Brit tv at the moment with some of the richest people in the world flicking their finger and saying every few seconds we click our fingers and a child dies from poverty.

lets face it we haven't got the world orgainised right when kids are dying of poverty.. but it amazes me that none of these people see any connection betweeen their own enormous wealth and the poverty in the world.

you would be crazy if you weren't jealous of what Geldof has achieved as a musician and a human being - I hold no rancour for the man. But if he can't see that when half the country is in hock up to its eyebrows in credit card debt, millionaires lecturing us about debt sounds a bit of a false note, - then he has been missing the company of ordinary people too long.
