I'd read all this stuff in the press about teenage binge drinking. Knowing that the younger element frequent my local club (at weekends, not midweek "grab a granny" nights when I go, naturally), I asked the barman, who I expected to know about these things, for a glass of binge, not knowing whether it comes with a cherry or an umbrella . He just shook his head and poured me a pint of ale as usual.
It must be a youth thing.
