As a one time performer and songwriter, I would have to say that my parody of "Shel Silverstein's "A Boy Named Sue" which was "A Boy Named Christ" had the most remarkable effect on audiences that I had ever seen--Most everyone loved it, but thought that it would offend everyone else profoundly--but even born again Christians were delighted with its droll but inspirational message-- which is to say, when I explained it all, they would always change their minds about killing me--
