I really didn't mean to insult you; Sometimes my "gutter" sense of humour gets me some evenings. There is no intention to demean anybody on this forum. Sometimes I spot things, and obviously in your case I screwed up badly. I actually posted an apology last night on the "West of Ireland" thread to you and someone else who took my sometimes wierd statements as literal, and not like it was intended.
I have many faults, and those who know me know that I am very good at pointing out my shortcomings, and looking at them probably more cynically than any body else does.
I actually did say sorry earlier in this post also, concerning my "lasy" statement, and nobody cared to pull me up on that.
Nobody's perfect, and I am more imperfect than a lot.
Please accept my heartfelt apologies, and know, for God's sake, that I don't count myself better than anybody else, quite the contrary. And I don't go around insulting people.
It's my North of Ireland humour, and it doesn't suit everybody.
This is why communication is important, and why we need to straighten shit like this out.
My remark was ill-timed, out of place, and unnecessary.
Others who took offence, and there were a few of them, 'repeatedly', please forgive an old fart like me who joined this forum, not to insult but to discuss and exchange.
