He gets pissed off because he sees someone attacking his wife in the Mudcat with pornographic abuse, and it pisses him off. Are you saying it wouldn't piss you off if someone did that to your wife?

And JtS has received PMs from people telling him that he shouldn't tolerate the way "Martin Gibson" was treating me. That's a hell of a thing to have to live with. So he gets pissed off.

I will not criticize him for trying to be a good husband. That's not the right thing for me to do.

If you want to clear things up with him about what you don't like about his posts, stop being such a coward and abusing his wife as a way to change his behavior. Talk to him about it yourself.
