He played (with Taste) at the South Bank Club in Grimsby a couple of times. I had a couple of requests and he obliged politely and enthusiastically.
I was never much on what became a "Eric is God" sort of thing but Rorr G was a great player and as I mentioned above a nice bloke.
PS Don't forget he supported Cream at the Albert Hall and by all acounts did just fine.
