Subject: RE: Mudcat DT's
I was thinking about this the other day, now that I'm retired and the boss wants me to do work on contract 70 hours a month at half the hourly salary I got before. If I spend the morning studying manuals to see how the Air Force wants me to report a background investigation according to this week's format, what do I learn? This week's format, which may or may not be the same as next week's format.
If I spend the morning researching a song to post on Mudcat, what do I learn? Something that will have value to me for the rest of my life.
I told the boss that MAYBE I'll work 20 hours a month. Maybe not, though.
