I grew up in Chicago and so am very interested in the songs of the Great Lakes sailors. Chanteyranger and I recorded two shanties from the Windjammer book (with permission) on our new cd "Boldly from the Westward" - the two songs were "Heave Her Up and Bust Her" and "Goodbye, My Lover, Goodbye."
