My grand dad was an old time Switchman and telegrapher for the Santa Fe Railroad...he changed the tracks with levers from a signal tower and was in charge of all the dit dit dit da communications. He used to let me go to work with him, and try to switch the tracks. I could hang from the levers and not move them.
