I was listening to a congressional hearing on CSPAN the other day when Senator Spector's committee was grilling administration officials. One of them, a general, when pressed by Senator Leahy (Sp?)said that the military tribunals have been held up due to pending court cases. I assume (but do not know for sure) he was referring to suits filed by lawyers of some of the internees at Gitmo. The impression I got was when the court cases have been delt with, the military trials will begin.
