Naomi is reputedly Osama Bin Laden's goat and his personal companion...or she was until captured by American forces in Afghanistan. They threatened to kill the goat unless Osama turned himself in. He didn't do so. Therefore I am wondering if Naomi is now okay? Esmeralda is a goat who has spent many happy years in close association with me, but brucie said he was lonely so I sent Esmeralda out west to comfort him. She never arrived, but she has posted recently on Mudcat, so she must be okay. There may be a connection between Naomi and Esmeralda, but probably not.

Esmeralda once won a steel cage tag team match involving herself, William Shatner, the "Masked Marvel" (Amos), and a blowup doll of Maggie Thatcher. Shatner and Esmeralda should have won easily, but the "Masked Marvel" (Amos) tried to fix the match by bringing his canary, Frisco Duck Duck into the ring with him. This was despicable behaviour on the part of Amos, and he received his just reward when the Maggie T doll exploded and knocked him silly with the resulting shock wave. Esmeralda was the only participant still standing when the final bell rang.
