Maybe if Saddam's troops hadn't been turned loose with all of their weapons and maybe if the stores of ammunition had been properly guarded after the invasion, we wouldn't have to be 'handling it'.

In any event, until the prisoners are given access to legal representation, we will never know how many innocent men have been caught in the dragnet.

We will never know how the Democrats would have handled it. We only know that the Republicans botched it big time.
