I am very familiar with this song (I'm a history geek -- what can I say?), and regardless of the politics, it is a pretty good song. If you listen to this and, say, Panzer Lied (made fameous by the movie "Battle of the Buldge"), you really get an idea of how the group/mob mentality was manipulated by the Nazis. I can see in my mind's eye the torch-lit barbarian splendor of it.

This is an important part of history, and one we are doomed to repeat if we DON'T remember it. An alcoholic can't pretend that booze doesn't exits, or he'll have no defenses when confronted with temptation again. We have to remember the attraction that these songs and their associated specticals have on the more primitive parts of our natures, or someone WILL rise to power using the same manipulative techniques.
