BB, this is a wonderful discovery of science. I used to be an Activities Director with Alzheimers' residents. It is both sad & a ton of fun at the same time. I found that Music also could help to spark alot of electricity going around the brain, & sometimes I used to get some short term memory going briefly, using various Music activities & other artsy activities. The research affects the future of many of us. We surely need to do something soon before the millions of babyboomers hit that phase, as this is going to make the level of care at nursing homes plummet worse than ever due to lack of funds in Soc Security & Medicare.
