It's not widely known, but for months after the release of Guide Cats 1, Les promoted it ahead of his own merchandise, although he never earned one penny from it, even telling one audience "You can buy my books and CDs, if you show me a copy of Guide Cats you have purchased".

I think he was HALF joking.
