Should I deny I want muse in my arms,
That dream might be? I know I ask for more
Than reason would allow, but hoping harms
No one save me: How can I hopes ignore?
I cannot hide desire: I long to feel
Her lips on mine. Yet, should I try to be
More than just friend? Would action only sea
My fate, to lose hope, yet not let heart free?
I bide my time: Perhaps she will decide
What she would have me do. I'd rather wait
Than risk her smile. I cannot my hopes hide,
But have no wish to rush to know my fate.
She knows that she is precious, and my muse:
I cannot her desire ever refuse.
