Yup. And the library people who run the computer networks and do all of the upkeep and programming and whatnot--I can only assume that they stay where they are because they love the place. They could easily pull down much larger salaries in private industry. A number of them have left over the years to do just that. Many of those IT guys are IT guys, but some of them started as librarians and added the computer skills, or came out of library school as IT librarians. It's scary what those folks know how to do!
