Have I the chance to more than my words share,
Or will I hold only as muse? You guide
The path I take: Did I not think you care,
I would not risk dreams, but these feelings hide.
Yet, I want honest feelings; That you give
Only what you desire. I could remain
At distance, if you your own desires live.
How can I now your happiness attain?
I care enough to rather that you choose
What would fulfil your heart's desires: I know
You deserve far more than just being muse.
Yet, I will still my longing for you show.
