Wow, Barry will love all these posts. I will print them and bring them to the hospital as soon as he is more alert. He is really holding his own, getting stronger everyday. He hit the top of the transplant list on Tuesday at 4:00 pm, after a rapid decline over the weekend. At 9:00 pm on Tuesday, he got the call that a liver had become available. (If you knew Barry four years ago, you may remember he waited over a month at the top of the list for a match.) The surgery was long - 9 hours, then he had a follow up surgery on Friday that was another 4 hours. But now, he looks good, still heavily sedated to keep him resting, and on the road to recovery.   Thanks for all the nice comments, good wishes... Barry is lucky to know all of you. Justine
