Well, this weekend 8-10 July there's an old time picking weekend at Killington Lake, between Kendal and Sedbergh. The farmer Joe Fearnhead is a keen banjo man, and is running a free weekend camp at Reservoir House, near the lake. There's a keen set of old time musicians in the area who'll all turn out, and anyone who likes or plays the music is welcome.
