Back when I listened to music in an altered state of consciousness, I really enjoyed songs like Michael Chapman's "New York Ladies" or "The Stranger." John Martyn's guitar solo on "Head & Heart" was also a fave. Richard Thompson's "When I Get to the Border." Another intense musical experience was Martin Carthy's "Famous Flower of Serving Men." Who has the time anymore, but I still enjoy all that music.
