I guess being the originator of a similar thread helped me to remember there was a similar thread.

Similar coincidences seem to occur frequently here on the 'Cat. 'Frinstance, someone wanted the lyrics to Blues My Naughty Sweetie Gave to Me. Well, someone else asked for the exact thing about a month ago. I remembered, searched the forum and gave the guy a link to the older thread. Go figure. Is there something that triggers these coincidences? I don't know.

Back in December of 1998, the Mudcat was experiencing exponential growth and was overwhelming the server Max was using. It would "crash" about once a month and we regular 'Catters would panic. It might be a few days before we could get back on. We really felt how important the Mudcat was to our daily lives.

If you want to start a thread next December, you are welcome to do so. Like yourself and Skipjack, there will be some new 'Catters who are just beginning to feel the pull of the 'Cat.
