The greatest love is that which loves all...not that which loves one special chosen individual. The only real love is unconditional love, and romantic love is normally both highly exclusive and highly conditional.

If, however, you can actually manage unconditional love (which is for all beings, not just one), you can still have romance in your life, I hasten to add...just in case you think I would deny it to you. I wouldn't do that.

I am suggesting that if you were really in LOVE, you would be writing sonnets not just to her but to all of creation.

You may find that she cannot hold indefinitely up under the burden of having to carry the entirety of your love, a love that is meant for all of Life, not just her.

No power is greater than the love which loves all, without conditions, plans, dreams or expectations.

And I am not the first who has said these things by any means...
