Thread Name: BS: On Being Stupid and Making Things Right
Subject: RE: BS: On Being Stupid and Making Things Right
Joe said, speaking of "regulars" i.e. members, Joe?: If you post anonymously, even if your post is innocuous, I think it violates the trust that other people place in you.

Up until the last year or two, there were several of us who posted innocuous stuff which I am sure didn't violate ANY trust, including those postings of "Ditzee Lee," "Cletus, Pa and the Reg boys," "Chongo Chimp" and many others, esp. in the story threads.

Other instances I can think of where posting anonymously was important and did NOT violate trust in any apparent way were in threads which were of a "delicate" nature, i.e. the one on impotence. Other members have told me, via PM's and phone calls, they have chosen to post anon., at times, to avoid racial and/or religious repercussions.

I know GUESTS have been painted with a broad brush and I have and still am in favour of other ways to deal with the ones who are so disruptive, as discussed in other threads ad nauseum, but not all GUESTs are troublemakers, be they "regulars" or not.

Susan...we've been down this road before. Please chill out and/or respect that others may not even have a Bible much less live by it.
