also remembering a TV documentaty
with a variety of music found along
a river--mississippi i think...from
native drumming to folk/fiddle/bluegrass
and then to the delta for blues and
dixieland and cajun. This seems to
be a good mix of music which represents
americana music...which would have been
ideal for julyu 4th. It was called River
of Song and I believe it was narrated by
Greg Brown or at least it featured him.
