Mine is always in its holster, clipped to my belt. It is a very old, unfashionable pay-as-you-go. It doesn't take photos, play music, or make the tea. It simply makes or receives phone calls. Nobody calls me except by prior arrangement, other than my wife.

It is there solely for the day the car breaks down, or some other emergency occurs requiring its use.

I've had it three years, and it has used up two £10 top-up cards. Worth it, I think.
