Mary turned the wrong way up the night my father died. I felt her do the flip. It woke us both up. So she was delivered by caesarian. I was standing behind Jill's head and my first glimpse of Mary was of her bum being hauled out of Jill's tummy.

Tom's was a natural birth. Horrific.

Caesarian is much more civilized. Jill recovered from it faster too, but to be fair, that's just our experience. Another lady who gave birth the night Tom was born just squeezed it out like a sausage and was up and walking around in a matter of minutes.
