Mowing in this humidity is getting to me. And, sometimes it rains for a week at a time, after which the grass is so tall that it has to be mowed twice, and I have 1.5 acres to mow. It's also on a hill, and I'm just too old for this.

So I'm saving up for a rider mower. Who has one, and what's a good brand to buy? I'm leaning towards a John Deere, but I'd like to hear from people who have some experience with these matters.
