Not being able to get in here from time to time, that's just something that happens. Like when you call on a friend and they are out.

What's more irritating is when you are on the Cat, and write some brilliant post, complete with links and all, designed to demonstrate once and for all why you are right and everyone else is wrong in some discussion you've been involved in - and you push to post it, and the Cat turns out to have gone down while you were writing it...

Still I've learnt now to make a point of copying posts before sending them, and then I can save them to a mudcat temp ,if I think they are worth saving. And then I can send them later, if I still think they are worth posting, which well may not be the case... Actually there's a lot to be said for doing that anyway with posts that are meant to clinch arguments. From time to time Mudcat outages have saved me from saying things I'm quite glad I didn't say.
