'Way up toward the beginning of this thread, someone postulated that the problems Mudcat is experiencing may be due to overheating. As a resident of southeastern Pennsylvania, I can tell you that the weather around here has indeed been hot and muggy of late. We had several thunderstorms this past weekend; the weekend before that was even worse, with the remnants of Hurricane Dennis rolling through (storms with high winds, downed trees, etc.). Currently I have a leak in my apartment ceiling because the winds were violent enough to have damaged the roof of my building. So it would not surprise me if it turns out that Mudcat's problems are weather-related, either from the heat or from an electrical problem related to the storms we've had.
