There is a switch for all noisy appliances--go to your fuse box & flip it.
Some dryers buzz to let you know they're done, but will keep tumbling for a few minutes so the stuff won't wrinkle. Some dryers buzz a few minutes before the end of the cycle, that is to let you know that it's dry, but the cool down cycle is in effect so you won't burn your hands on the hot laundry--supposed to ward off evil wrinkles.
If you don't want the car to "talk" aka beeps, simply remove the battery. (but it might not start after that)
