I gad a 1989 Olds Toronado with a touch screen panel for a lot of the controls. One thing it would do is start beeping at me when the fuel got down to about 1/4 tank. At first, I'd reach over and touch "Cancel" to turn it off, but I found that it'd immediately bring up the low fuel screen and beep again. So I tried not touching cancel. Then, in about 30 seconds, the screen would return to the standby status and immediately change back to the low fuel screen and beep. I quickly learned to keep at 1/2 tank or above in that car. Other than that, the touch screen functions were wonderful.
