In the TES (times educational supplement - www.tes.co.uk) last week there was a little snippet about dumbing down of British Universities. One piece of evidence of said dumbing down was that Newcastle Uni were offering a folk music degree.

Indignant letters from those participating in or teaching said course might stop them getting away with these things so lightly.
