I just came back from a vacation in Poland, Hungary, Austria, and the Czech Republic. I was a bit apprehensive about traveling through De Gaulle Airport in Paris, but everything worked just fine. Don't think I'd want to go to Egypt just now, though. The security would probably ensure that everything would be OK, but it's likely to be a horrible hassle.
